WHAT IS ANGLICANISM?
Trinity is part of the Anglican Communion totaling more than 70 million members around the world. Anglicanism was born out of the Reformation and our worship centers on ancient forms of worship and contemporary expressions of that faith.
Our worship and prayers date back to the first centuries of Christianity and our values and practices are rooted in the teachings of Holy Scripture and the early church. Our Sunday worship reflects those ancient values but in a modern expression – in our prayers and in our music.
ANGLICANS ARE:
Evangelical – as Biblically-faithful Christians, we believe the Bible is the Word of God.
Liturgical – we follow the Book of Common Prayer. (ACNA-2019)
Charismatic – we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit as our guide in teaching, inspiration, healing, and in transforming the world.
